Description
Following the same principal of the conventional chain stoppers we combine a separate devil claw, this unique arrangement offers additional safety. The devil claw hooks onto the chain and provides tension on the chain while the anchor is stowed ensuring additional hold while underway. The devil claw can be easily removed or simply secured off to the side. The combined set provided increased safety. Available to suit any chain size, and finished in either chromed bronze, traditional polished bronze, highly polished or bead blasted 316L stainless steel.

Its all about being competitive but also being the best
“Its all about being competitive but also being the best. Best design, best quality and always reliable. The winch market has always been competitive, so you’ve got to find a way to sell it.”
- Jock Muir,
Make sure the winch you design
“Until I retire Ill still be unofficially selling Muir winches because it’s the best production the world. I recommend it because it’s my reputation riding on everything I build. You have to be able to put your hand on your heart… when you recommend a product. I have history with Muir now, I don’t check any of their specs or equipment… I just trust them 100%”
- Alan Stever,
Stebercraft vessels
“Stebercraft vessels are built to rigid design and exacting marine standards… we will still be supporting Muir Winches ‘til the cows come home”
