Enquiry Form FAQs

Common questions about how we handle enquiries.

Within one business day for anything sent Monday to Friday. Enquiries that arrive over a weekend or an Australian public holiday are answered the next working morning, AEST. Technical cases that need a drawing check can take a little longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.

No. Muir sells through an authorised dealer network, so we will quote your requirement and connect you with the closest dealer who stocks it. Spare parts and apparel can be ordered through the online store.

For a support or spare parts enquiry, yes — it is stamped on the gearbox nameplate and it is the fastest way to identify the exact build, gearbox ratio and parts list. For new equipment pricing it is not needed.

Yes. Attach images or a PDF up to 10 MB. Photos of the bow roller, deck cut-out and anchor locker let our engineers confirm the fit before anything is quoted or shipped.

Your details are used only to answer your enquiry and are handled under Australian Privacy Principles. Read the Muir policies for the full detail, or the OAIC guidance on how those principles work.

Still Deciding Which Windlass You Need?

Send the enquiry form with your vessel details and our engineers will size it for you — the same advice we give the shipyards that fit Muir gear as standard.
