Enquiry Form
Use the Muir enquiry form below to reach the people who design, build and service our windlasses, capstans, drum winches and anchoring systems. Tell us about the vessel and the ground tackle, and you will get a specific answer instead of a brochure.
Every enquiry form submission is read by a real person at our Tasmanian factory and answered within one business day, Monday to Friday. If your vessel is on the water and you need help now, call the workshop directly.
Send Your Enquiry Form
Tell us about the vessel and the ground tackle and we'll answer with something specific. The more detail you give here, the fewer emails it takes. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

Enquiry Form FAQs
Common questions about how we handle enquiries.
How quickly will I get a reply to my enquiry form?
Within one business day for anything sent Monday to Friday. Enquiries that arrive over a weekend or an Australian public holiday are answered the next working morning, AEST. Technical cases that need a drawing check can take a little longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Can I buy directly through this enquiry form?
No. Muir sells through an authorised dealer network, so we will quote your requirement and connect you with the closest dealer who stocks it. Spare parts and apparel can be ordered through the online store.
Do I need my serial number?
For a support or spare parts enquiry, yes — it is stamped on the gearbox nameplate and it is the fastest way to identify the exact build, gearbox ratio and parts list. For new equipment pricing it is not needed.
Can I attach photos and drawings?
Yes. Attach images or a PDF up to 10 MB. Photos of the bow roller, deck cut-out and anchor locker let our engineers confirm the fit before anything is quoted or shipped.
Is my information kept private?
Your details are used only to answer your enquiry and are handled under Australian Privacy Principles. Read the Muir policies for the full detail, or the OAIC guidance on how those principles work.
Still Deciding Which Windlass You Need?
Send the enquiry form with your vessel details and our engineers will size it for you — the same advice we give the shipyards that fit Muir gear as standard.
