Wrapping Up AWBF 2025: A Celebration of Maritime Heritage

The 2025 Australian Wooden Boat Festival has come to a close, and what an incredible celebration it was! The event showcased the rich history and craftsmanship of maritime culture, leaving us inspired and in awe.

At the Muir booth, we had the pleasure of connecting with countless boating enthusiasts. We proudly demonstrated our latest advancements in anchoring systems, from the elegant bronze windlass options to the brand-new stainless-steel horizontal housings.

We were also thrilled to welcome members of the Australian Shipwrights and Boatbuilders Group, who stopped by to collect their new association shirts proudly sponsored by Muir.

The weekend ended on a high note with a memorable sail aboard the Søren Larsen, one of the magnificent tall ships gracing the festival. It was a fitting conclusion to a remarkable event.
