VRC 13000 Mega Vertical Windlass | Vessels 48-65m (158-213ft)
Built for vessels between 48 and 65 metres (158-213ft), the VRC 13000 combines Muir’s precision engineering with the heavy-duty capacity today’s superyachts and large commercial vessels demand.
Rated to a maximum pull of 5909kg and a continuous pull of up to 3900kg on the hydraulic variant (3300kg on the AC drive options), the VRC 13000 delivers reliable anchor retrieval at speeds from 10m/min up to 20m/min. It’s available in 50Hz AC, 60Hz AC or hydraulic drive configurations, giving specifiers flexibility to match the windlass to the vessel’s onboard power system.
The VRC 13000 accepts short link chain up to 22mm and stud link chain up to U2-26mm, with a 457mm brake for secure chain holding under load. As with the rest of Muir’s Mega Line, it’s designed and manufactured in Australia to ISO9001 standards, built to perform in the demanding environments the superyacht and commercial marine industry requires.
