The Reliable TMQ i@nchor BlackBox
The TMQ i@nchor BlackBox is an advanced glass bridge windlass control system developed for commercial vessels, superyachts, and premium recreational boats. Unlike traditional helm-mounted controllers, the BlackBox integrates directly with compatible Raymarine Glass Bridge displays or web-based interfaces, providing complete anchor control without a dedicated display head.
Supporting dual-anchor installations, synchronised anchor deployment, Ethernet, NMEA 2000 and IEC 61162 communications, the BlackBox is designed for sophisticated marine electrical systems. Optional Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) output allows integration with larger electric or hydraulic windlass systems.
Built for professional marine environments, the BlackBox delivers intelligent automation, automatic anchor deployment, emergency stop protection, and advanced networking for modern bridge systems.

Reviews
Muir windlasses offer the ultimate in anchoring performance, reliability and style.
- David McQueen
Remarkable Equipment
“This remarkable equipment has come out of a little place called Tasmania, which half the world doesn’t even know exists; out of a place called Kingston, which people definitely don’t know of; and its sold by these funny Tasmanians who are dogmatic, passionate and brilliant at what they do. They’re the ultimate product”
- Ilja Van
It is very nice that when we call with a question
“It is very nice that when we call with a question [Muir] will try to give you the needed information as quickly as possible, but more than that, they will think with you”
- Toby Richardson
we’ve always had a good working relationship
“we’ve always had a good working relationship with Muir. Never a problem, and never any reasons for there to be one, because their product is very good.”
