Simple Controls

— bow & deck

Wired controllers installed at the bow, inside the chain locker, for direct control of windlasses, drum winches or anchor winches.

Muir marine anchoring equipmentAA320

AA320 Remote Control

Simple, robust up/down single-speed control for one windlass — the entry point to the range.

Muir marine anchorAA342

AA342 Remote Control

Four-button control for dual single-speed windlasses, a two-speed windlass, or windlass + auxiliary such as a bow thruster.

Helm Counters & Controls

Flush-mounted at the helm — chain counter readout and windlass control at your fingertips. Four tiers, from readout-only to the NMEA 2000 flagship.

Muir marine anchoring equipmentAA150

AA150 Control And Counter

Chain counter readout only — pair it with any control solution when you just need to see how much rode is out.

AA560 Control / High-precision digital laser distance meter for construction and engineering measurements.AA560

AA560 Control and Counter

Readout and windlass control combined in one helm-mounted unit — the all-rounder of the panel series.

Muir marine anchoring equipmentAA800

AA800 Control And Counter

The flagship: readout, control and NMEA 2000 compliance so your chain counter talks to the vessel’s electronics network.

Muir marine anchoring equipmenti@nchor

TMQ i@nchor

Advanced colour LCD windlass control with integrated chain counter, automatic anchoring modes, NMEA 2000 connectivity, and intelligent depth-based scope control.

Wireless & Handheld Remotes

emote control, live chain/line readout and fully automatic anchor deployment and retrieval in your hand. Each kit includes a base station wired to the windlass with a single cable.

Muir marine anchoring equipmentAA710

AA710 Wireless Remote Control and Counter

Handheld wireless remote with live anchor-depth readout and full automatic deployment/retrieval. External antenna recommended for thick hulls or long runs from the base station.

Muir marine anchoring equipmentAA730

AA730 Wired Remote Control and Counter

Identical functionality to the AA710 — control, counter and automatic anchoring — in a wired version for a guaranteed connection.

TMQ i@nchor BlackBox

Glass bridge windlass control system with dual-anchor support, Ethernet, NMEA 2000 connectivity, and advanced commercial vessel integration.

Parts & Sensors

Base stations, sensors, magnets and cabling for both the Auto Anchor and i@nchor systems. i@nchor kits use their own sensor and cable set — not interchangeable with AA parts.

Remote Control FAQs

Yes — Auto Anchor systems are universal and compatible with most vertical windlasses, horizontal windlasses, drum winches and anchor winches, not just Muir models. They can also control auxiliary equipment such as bow thrusters, davits or deck lights.

Yes — the i@nchor suits most windlasses, including Muir vertical, horizontal and drum winches. It uses the same gypsy magnet-and-sensor counting method as the Auto Anchor range, wires to standard 12/24V solenoid controls, and supports chain, rope or combination rodes.

Both combine chain counter and windlass control in one helm unit. The i@nchor adds a colour day/night display, automatic drop/raise to a set length, depth-linked scope setting, NMEA 2000 output to your chartplotter, and extra safety features — emergency stop, auto screen lock and a safe docking stop. It’s Australian-made by TMQ in Brisbane.

Both give you remote windlass control, a live chain counter readout and full automatic anchor deployment/retrieval. The AA710 is wireless (handheld remote + base station); the AA730 is the wired version. For thick hulls or long distances from the base station, choose the AA710 with an external antenna.

The AA800 panel-mounted control and counter is the latest model and complies with NMEA 2000 standards, letting the chain counter integrate with your vessel’s marine electronics network.
